Indications a home needs remedial home staging – sadly all photos are real
Chances are you have heard of the concept of home staging. The art of making a home look its best to home buyers. Home stagers have a load of great ideas on how to make your home more appealing for it to sell.
Selling your home is like selling a loaf of fresh baked bread. When the loaf is warm, smells wonderful and makes a buyers mouth water – they are going to buy it. Pretty simple. When a loaf of bread is stale, crusty, moldy, soggy, etc. – then no one is going to buy it. Somewhere in between is the day old bread counter where the loaves are discounted heavily.
At a minimum you would expect a home to at least be clean, swept up, no holes in the floor to fall through, a poop-free zone, no scenes in the basement suggesting Silence of the Lambs, and so on.

So – best practices do not  include advertising it took a whole can of RAID to kill the bugs. 🙂
